Is it allowed for a homeowner to complete some of the work on homeowners claim? The insurance company has already competed its estimate and issued a check to me and my mortgage company?
A professional water mitigation company has completed its work. Carpet will be installed by a retailer/professional and I'd like to do the drywall and painting, etc since I have a lot of experience and confident the results will be on par with a contractor.
