Damage to interior of home because underground pipes outside were damaged by roots

This is supposed to be a place for learning and having questions answered, there is no reason to attack a fellow agent of yours Max.
The correct answer is that we need more information to advise if it is or is not a covered loss. Policies differ from state to state and between different insurance companies. It also depend exactly where the line failed, is it on your property or beyond your property line.
Also, are you questioning whether there is coverage for the interior damages or for the repair of the pipe.
As you can see it is not always black and white with these types of insurance claims.
