| There are only a few insurance companies out there who will provide insurance for a spider species, especially if they are venomous. Moreover, spiders don’t live very long (although tarantula subspecies are known to live for 11 to 20 years). Carefully check for exclusions before you buy a policy. Its easier to find coverage for reptiles since they are popular pets and live for quiet a long time. Make sure you have 3rd party liability coverage. Since insurers in this sector are rare, policy prices maybe a little steep. |
