I am insured with a group policy at work. Last summer my policy was cancelled at the end of the spring semester, ( June, July) it was not picked bask up until the beginning of the fall semester ( Aug.). Now the policy holder, UHC is backing up and taking theose preminums out of my check even though I had no coverage at that time.

I wanted to welcome you to the forum. I'm not an 'expert' on ANY kind of insurance, but, I know ALOT of people who will be looking at this thread soon.......people who are experts in this field. I just want to ask, however...what KIND of policy was this? Was it Life Insurance, medical, etc? Why was your policy cancelled? I had a few 'issues' with Life Insurance, health companies before...similiar to THIS problem. Maybe I can help in THIS 'specific' field.
I assume you are talking about United Health Care? Have you called them at all? Could be your employer and not them making this mistake with your income...please explain this in a little more detail, ie, why was it canceled in the summer? Was it canceled for everyone or just you? Are you a teacher and this is part of your benefit with the district?
