Hi there !

I have come a long way to Texas in order to stay with my family at our new home. Everything is so nice about the place, except that I didn't have the slightest hint about the homeowners insurance policy while buying our nest. Ours is quite a simple place to stay with no trampoline or pool.

I would just like to know if I have accepted a fair deal in terms of insurance coverage and whether we are paying worth it.
regards,
Jack

Hi

I had faced a dilemma quite similar to that of yours.
Safeco is an insurance company who are known for basing rates on the claim history and credit scores of a person. We got a discount for insuring our cars and house with them. We can have flat rates for a period of 5 years for all our claims within that period simply because of the $1000 deductible. We just need to pay $650 as our yearly premium for our new home worth $300,000 in Denver Colorado.
Regards.
