Install a remote tracking device so that using that position of the car can be identified using GPS system.

Prevent theft? Right now I'd vote for a chip in the key, like Fords PATS. That is, the chip sends a signal to the ignition, otherwise it won't start. Something like a billion trillion combinations. As theives should know which vehicles have this installed, they should stay away from them.

Things like Lo-Jack are good... but they will not prevent the vehicle from being stolen, only help locate it afterward.

Please don't mention the Club. It might be metal but the steering wheel is still plastic. Wheel can be cut through in about 10 seconds and the Club removed.

Another good way.... don't make your vehicle more attractive to theives. Thousand dollar stereo's, five thousand dollars wheels, etc.

Keep your car locked and take your keys with you. Also put your windows up when you park...oh and one more thing..the club is not a bad investment especially if you are in a high theft area.

Keep expensive items like ipods, gps systems, head units etc. do not leave them in the site of others when your car is parked this will provolk others to break into your car.

Etched vehicle identification number on car windows and major parts so stolen cars/parts are more easily traced.

Keep your vehicle in a locked garage and have your friends take you in their car. Laughing

I will complement your advice, Install an anti theft device when your auto odometer is running but is not your driving, some alarm will notice you to your cellphone and a thief'picture will be shot by a shoot device in your car and send to your cell phone.
