I want to thank all those who helped with "My son doesn't live with me", "Canceling a policy" and "Is it just me". My saga is almost over, we have new policies with another company and have canceled our problem policies. We have fulfilled the letter of the law and notified Safeco with signed dated letters canceling the coverage effective the same date we got coverage elsewhere and I am on the way to the bank to ask them to keep Safeco from removing anymore funds. On a side note, after debiting my account through EFT, then asking me to sign up for said service or be subjected to fees, they then sent another letter again thanking me for my interest in their ETF program, but that they prefer to escrow homeowner's insurance payments, to please sign the following letter arranging for such or risk fees and possibly cancelation. Only, that policy is already escrowed and has been paid in full for the year. Sigh... Now I am awaiting a refund of the homeowner's balance to send to the new company. No offense, but I hope I don't have to come back here with questions/problems! Lauri
