Hey Pals!
This time I am here to announce yet another exciting contest... And trust me it is BIG!!!!
This is the best opportunity for you to win a $50 gift card (told ya, its big!)
Guys, here is how you can get it !! Any community member, who refers the most number of members to the community, between 1st March to 31 st March gets a $50 Amazon Gift Card.
But, each of the new member you refer would have to make two new posts, at least, in our forums. You should make the posts following the forum guidelines..though. Remember!! One has to have at least 10 referrals against his/her name to stand a chance of winning this contest.
So if you really wish to get your hands on that gift card then just do not wait and start off to inform your friends and acquaintances about the contest . Your time starts... now...
P.S. Make sure you use the referral form to refer to people. This is important for the system to track your referrals.

Now Lakemen, you know that I cannot take all the "credit" or "blame" for this, but I do think it is an excellent idea.
I have read so many threads about "how this doesn't pay" or "something doesn't pay as well as this".

Hey Lakemen, this indeed a great idea and I'm sure this too will enjoy its share of success like the AmPm Marathon contest.
Well, I know many friends and I'll surely refer this site to them but the only hitch is that they are not quite apt in insurance.

Sorry other obligations prevent you from spending more time here, maybe things will ease up. I stay pretty busy myself. I manage an independent insurance agency, supervise five insurance agents, maintain 5 traditional web sites, 4 blogs, maintain the Business Insurance Guide Section here, I do some freelance writing, I'm working on a book and in my spare time, I'm an artist.

I personally feel that we have an enormous amount of insurance related knowledge in this community, but if all we had was one insurance person talking to another insurance person, it would be really boring.
All of us, at some point, have had experiences with insurance in some form. We have bought insurance, sold insurance, been the beneficiary of an insurance policy, filed an insurance claim, or had an encounter with an insurance agent.
To me, these "experiences" are what makes this forum interesting.
So I don't think that being "apt in insurance" has anything to do with participating in this forum or blogging.

I think there should be a blog contest like on the debt forum, they used to do a monthly blog contest and the members would vote on it, the blogs take an incredible amount or time and work. This would be a good way to set up a reward system for them.  |

And your time and work is paying off, you have a very good looking blog.
Contests are great, but we might not want to get all of them going at the same time.
We have the monthly "Marathon" and now we have the "New Member" contest going.
I think the "Blog Contest" is a great idea, we just need to get more participation in the blogs. Every member can blog, just can't really understand why they don't.
Just my personal opinion.

In place of American Express Card we have decided to change that to a $50 Amazon Gift Card. The reason behind this being the extra charges that come associated wit it.
