I'm a student in CA and I'm a bit curious to know how SSDI treats Fibromyalgia. What are the things one should consider in this regard, while applying for disability?

In order to qualify for SSDI with Fibromyalgia, you must not only prove through medical documentation that you have Fibromyalgia, but also that your conditoin makes you unable to continue with gainful employment. You can find out more about Fibromyalgia and SSDI at www.socialsecurity-disability.org. After a year of waiting and being denied twice, I finally hired a specialized Social Security Disability Insurance attorney and was awarded benefits after 3 months!
