No private health carrier that I'm aware of would cover a pre-existing condition..

I always heard that when you take out health coverage ,for a preiod of time they will not cover any pre existing conditions. After this amount of time ,whatever it is,then they will cover it. Is that not the way it is?If you have a condition are you saying no provider covers a pre existing condition ever?

I think this is the one I see advertised on tv a lot. Sounds to good to be true.I also hear if it sounds to good to be true it usually is. I have heard nothing but bad stuff about Cinergy Health coverage. Is there anyone who can tell me from experience if this is a good insurance to have?

Cinergy is a bunch of junk. Just wait until you need expensive prescriptions or have a visit to the hospital and see how much they'll pay....they are not real major medical insurance and you should never drop a major medical policy to buy this type of coverage.

There are plenty of companies that will cover pre-existing conditions, but they all have different underwriting. Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Humana, Aetna, Assurant, etc. Just depends on the condition and if you have prior coverage.

The ad on tv says for a cheap price(very affordable) They pay 100% of surgery and lots of other benifits. If that is all a lie why hasn't someone already brought them up on charges of fraud?

Get a copy of the policy benefits and tell me how much they actually cover.....I'd put $100 on it that there is a 100% surgery payment up to about $1,000, then you have to cover the rest. Try asking them how much of a quadruple bypass surgery they would pay for.

I take it you had this coverage? So they are only lieing on the tv ad? Someone should expose them. They should not be showing ads like that if they aren't true.Especially on tv.

No, I haven't had the coverage. I sell insurance. Their plans are junk. They are not "lying" flat out but rather using clever wording to make it sound like full coverage. It's not, I promise. Move on.

Thanks for clearing that up. I will disregard their commercials from now on. If anyone asks me I will be sure to tell them that they are cleverly worded ads that sell junk at reasonabe prices.

The prices aren't even reasonable. They really sell junk at ridiculous prices. Cinergy and other discount plans should ONLY be used by people who cannot obtain major medical coverage because of a major pre-existing condition causing them to be declined by all major insurance companies.

If you are coming off Group Health coverage, have exhausted COBRA, have not been cancelled due to non-payment of premiums, have a Certificate of Creditable Coverage and you purchase new health insurance within 63 days, you may receive credit for pre-existing conditions. However, it could cost you more.

I know of only one Health Access Plan that will cover you immediately regardless of pre-existing conditions, and it is only sold in certain states. That is Assurant Health Access Plan A. It is cheap, limited benefit, with no coverage for hospitalization. Very basic. There are also some better ones that require 12 months continuous coverage before they will cover any condition that was treated in the prior 12 months before you purchased coverage. However, those will cover medications immediately. If you would like more information call me 1-888-543-5080.

A pre-existing condition is a health problem that existed before you have applied for the health care policy. Most of the health insurance companies exclude people with pre-existing conditions or impose a waiting period before the coverage starts. Sometimes they may also charge some out-of-pocket expenses or might higher the premium.
