| How much is still owed on the car? The person who sold you the car may be in some legal heat here. The lien holder can still take possession of the car, I would check with an attorney on this one! |

How did you buy a vehicle with a lein? If you're in a state where the vehicle processor has the title there is still a lein showing on the title. If in a state where the lien holder holds title..How (or why) would you buy a vehicle without getting the title for it?
The fact of the matter is, if there is a legal lein on that vehicle regardless of how much money you gave this person. You do not own the vehicle the lein holder does and can promptly come and pick it up.
What were the circumstances surrounding this sale, and what state are you in? _________________ "Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well being of a person or animal is at stake.
