Posted: Wed Oct 21, 2009 1:39 am   Post subject:    No, you cannot. The only way you could coordinate the benefits as you suggested would be if you were BOTH insured under BOTH plans. If that were the case, there are provisions within most group contracts titled "Coordination of Benefits" provisions that govern which plan would be primary and which would be secondary.
