| I don't have a license. But I don't drive my car. I am leasing it from a dealership but they called and said I am going to lose my car without insurance. I don't want to lose it. I get my license back in a couple months!! |

| If you don't drive it, why do you need it? How did you lease a vehicle, without a license? Then you said you lost it or is it suspended? If you already leased it, then you really haven't lost it. Whose on first? |

Speaking for Texas, there are companies that would allow you to take out a policy with you as Named Insured but excluded to drive. They would want you to list someone that would be driving the vehicle.
Understand in this situation you would not have coverage if you drove the vehicle.
You would also want to verify this would be acceptable with your leasing company as I have seen some lienholders not accept when the named insured is excluded. _________________ AnMarie Bozick, CIC

There's probably a lot of companies that will write you a policy. It'll probably be a risk policy but I write them all the time for people with suspended licenses because you often need proof of insurance to reinstate your license.
Try contacting a local agent. |
