We found like cars a a dealer the average cost of all the same year cars they had in thier inventory is 200 dollars less than what we are asking to settle for. The insurance company went on craigs list to find compareables. Tier driver was at fault he ran a stop sign. They say they will not pay for the rental car anymore they also said they only have to pay for the rental car for 72 hours after they make an offer. Posted: Thu Nov 19, 2009 12:34 pm   Post subject:    They are correct on the rental...and if the car dealerships you checked with are only 200 more..you have to realize that is their 'asking' price and you can bet they would take 200 less (or more) cash. sounds to me like you have received a fair offer...
