our home was damaged due to a heavy storm in march 2008. the assessors have been four times, and a fraud investigator has taken a 30 page report. no interim payments no assistance. where do we go from here.

In any case a period of 21 months is too long a period by any standards for a claim adjuster and investigator to reach to a conclusion.
I would agree, "except", (and I'm betting) that the SIU dept is involved, likely some statement under oath, also but they requested phone records etc...now if the insured is not getting the requested info the to carrier timely or at all..that will most definately HALT the claims progress. And I've seen this very thing many times in SIU claimsAdd your comment
