I just found my car is Salvage. I paid for my tag and the registration came back with Salvage on it.. Can I take the guy I bought from to small claims court? Where can I found out who he was and where is he living,, I live in California.. HELP..

Sure, but for what? Do you want to give the seller the vehicle back and get your money back? Do you want to keep it and they pay you some money due to it's (maybe) reduced value? .. WHAT? What do you mean 'who he was'? How do you NOT know who you bought the car from? When you purchased the car did the seller not sign and give you the title? Didn't the title have the sellers name? Didn't the title say 'salvage' or 'prior salvage' on it? Did you get a realllllllllllly good deal for it?
If you'd like post the yr/make/model/mileage/options, I'll check the value, let us know what you paid for it, and we'll see if the seller took this branded title into consideration on their sale price (depends on the yr/make anywhere from nothing-40% off the value for a branded title).
