how do i get a car back that i am the lean holder on and they never paid me

Do you have a formal contract? Does this contract lay out what will happen if they don't pay it. Or was this a verbal agreement? If just verbal, hopefully you kept a set of keys...I'd get in it, and drive away with it..making sure I have the title with me in (which I assume is still in your name), in case the deadbeats report it stolen, then I'd make sure it was hid (in a garage) or change the locks. And I'd NEVER loan that relative money again!
