| What does it mean to have insurance? We know that insurance is to cover risk of some sort. Choose two types of insurance (auto, home, health, disability, or life insurance) and identify one coverage characteristic of each. |

AUTO and HOMEOWNERS == both include protection against personal liability claims.

| Insurance is all about covering yourself against possible risks. It's not about repaying you for existing losses or damages. Auto, home, disability, life - the terms suggest the nature of coverage that you're going to have. Auto insurance is about covering your car, while disability insurance is about covering you for a possibility of going out of work due to a severe illness or injury. |

Questions like this should not be given an answer. This is a question a teacher has given a student at the online school Phoenix. These people should do their own work and stop posting things like this. It is not a hard question to answer and if the student was actually reading their text, they would know the answer.

Only when its covered in the contract. There are many EXCLUSIONS in most policies. Excluded damages are NOT COVERED.

I am a student of Phoenix and I bing'd the question to SUPPLIMENT my text and that is what many students do. Ivy league or not it is the quest for knowledge that leads the student into learning; to degrade someone for wanting to learn more than the scope of our text is simply ASSinine.
