A plane crashed about 20 feet from my parked car and the resulting fire damaged it.
Can I file a claim against the insurance company of the airplane? If so how do I go about finding that information?
Is this generally covered under the insurance?

The FAA takes a report. Call them for a copy.
If the pilot was negligent and had insurance, they will usually cover the damage.
