I'm do a little research on how to be a insurance brooker in the state of indiana and here's what i found.

2: Take Related College Courses while Pursuing a Degree
3: Get State Issued Broker's License
4: Get Certified in an Insurance Area
5: Advance in Your Career as an Insurance Broker

Yes, the course that you've mentioned above is perhaps the pre-licensing course. At the end of this course, you'll need to sit for a test. You'll obtain a certificate once you pass this test.
