we stole this car. but the keys where in it. but this guy caused the accident. first time offense. and wondering cause this guy cause the accident, should we be held respondiable for the damages? shouldn't we be able to get some medical coveryage? we both have mental issuses that we r working on, neither one of use were on our meds. that night or for at least a couple weeks. ran from the cops. we were drunk. now the other guy, they r trying to charge him with the accident. but i think me and my fanice should have gotten misterminers. well, they all ready charged me with felnoy theft and my fanice is waitin to be charged. and we both have spend time in the county jail. my fanice has just about spent a yr on this. plz help. im slow and need help with this and to understand.

Hit and run... bumps up the theft charge. If the other person had injuries then yes... it's a felony (leaving the scene of an accident with injuries).
Also, this is an insurance forum... not a legal/criminal form.
As you did not have insurance, you need to provide yourself a defense when it comes to the civil matter. The court will appoint you an attorney for the criminal matter. You need to ask your attorney about the charges.
