i went to 2 different hospital with head injuries and i still have problems. can i do anything?

my landlord asked me go up on roof and i fell off ladder i had a head injuries and over 100,000 in hospital bills,he filed it on homeowners and we r told all we get is 5,000 with some of that being paid to the hospitals. is this right?

Why did he make you go to the roof in the first place?
It's very apparent that the reimbursement is not sufficient. In this case you may ask your landlord to negotiate with his insurer to check if you can get a reasonable payout.
You may consult an insurance advisor on how to deal with the situation. If nothing helps you may seek the advise of a lawyer but that would be expensive.
