My got broken into 4 years ago here in Colorado and my stereo equipment was stolen along with damage to the glass and dashboard..I filed a police report and nothin.g happened..can I still file claim with my insurance then? Is there a time limit ? Please help answer this question..

It's what ever the statute of limitations is for contracts in CO... probably 6 years. Some policies are claim made policies which means the claim needs to be reported within the same policy period (not typical). Some have specific time frames. All will say to report the claim as soon as possible but for a denial on this they need to show they were harmed in some way by the late report.
Here is the first question you will be asked... why are you reporting the claim now and not when it happened.
