I am currently on unemployment since October 2011. I had a struck on Monday. Iwas in hospital for 5 days. The hospital doctor told to rest for aweek and then see my primary physician. The doctor he would be recommending to my Primary i that i rest For a month while receiving therapy.
Should i switch from UI to disability? If my disbaility is only 6 Weeks will I be able to return to UI afterwards until i find a job?

The problem with applying for SSDI with your current affliction is that the guidelines require you to
1. Expect to be disabled for at least a year
or
2. The disability can result in death
So I guess the best bet for you is to stick to UI.
