We suffered some hail damage and water damage from a recent set of storms that came through to our cabin and our Insurance company said we have to be there for them to inspect the property.
Is this true?
Oh we did pay out the extra $$$ for flood damage.

They want you there so no one calls the police on them for trespassing.

Wouldn't you want to be there to make sure the adjuster was looking at the right part of the property? How else is he/she going to gain access to the inside of the dwelling? The insurance company is doing you a favor by requesting you/someone be present at the time of the inspection.
