is my insurance company obligated to pay for my attorney

if I'm in a car accident and my car is totaled and the other driver is at fault and was under the influence have insurance but I want an attorney to help settle my case with the insurance company and I have no injuries is my insurance company obligated to pay for it in Wisconsin?

Nope. Most attorney's won't even help you on a property damage claim unless you pay them an hourly fee. For an injury they will happy to represent you.... for 33% of what is paid out.

Your policy states it will defend you in the event of a covered loss for liability against you.

100% correct in Wisconsin . . . and 49 other states, plus the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the other territories and possessions of the US.

As the plaintiff, you are responsible for your own legal fees.
