Ins co cancellation notification

Does the Ins Co have an obligation to notify lienholder/loss payee before ins cancels? If they don't and car is wrecked, what is their responsibility then and the lienholder's rights? We are in Delaware.

Yes, the states that I know of the insurance company needs to inform the lien holder.

What responsibilities of this is not done? Ultimately that is up to a judge. Something could always be worked out before it gets to that point.

If you think the debtor is going to get something more then the loan paid off, you are mistaken.
