Hi All,
In my opinion, the insurance companies should always maintain transparency at designing their policies. The clauses mentioned in the policy papers are often inexplicable. It often catches us unaware of what lies ahead of us!
So the bottom-line is -> Get your money & let us relax!

Hi Guyz, the perspective with which I look at things may differ from others but what I can recollect from my studies clearly states the primary duties being –
(i) Design realistic policies keeping the social requirements in mind.
(ii) Live up to the promises towards covering the risks.
(iii)Explain the underwriting process to the users.
(iv) Make the processing of claims a bit smoother.
(v) Inform the users about any minute changes relating to any clauses.

Its good to see these active participants pouring in from all quarters!
I feel that each of the above mentioned points are true to be valued, and also would like to add a few more to the list.
(i) Inform the users about their charges in time.
(ii) Keep the users updated about the changing modes of fraudulent activities.
(iii) Strengthen their anti-fraud activities.
(iv) Get the users more equipped to face the challenges.
(v) Keep the users informed about the establishment of new regulatory bodies.
(vi) Keep the users informed about insurance laws updates.

Hi yeah! Its truly good to see the comments digging so deeper into our core problems now-a-days. Its real worthy of our time to make the payment-process a simpler one & the acknowledgment process a quicker one!
