A bank in agreement with a insurance company in other words indirect way of selling insurance where the seller is a bank and they get commission for the bank.
Now a days most of the banks have tie up with one or other LI company as its benefited to both....

The term is actually Bancassurance also known as the Bank Insurance Model (BIM). In this case the insurance company ties up with the bank to use the bank’s sales channels to sell insurance products. The commission from the sale of policies is collected by the bank and is shared with the insurance company. The bank staff rather than the insurance agents are the ones who interact with the customers over the matter of insurance policies.
