I have paid my premiums on-time for 10+ years.
I assumed this policy when my company ( group policy of 3)
went out of business approximately 15 years ago. At that time I kept the policy valid. Then I transfered this policy to my new 1 person company several years ago when Guardian noted that they didn't support a 1 person group. I believe I am being cancelled because of my recent diagnosis and treatment for cancer. ( in remission) I also have been monitoring a heart valve condition for more than 10 years and may require a new valve within a few years. I am currently in good health - exercise regularly and try very hard to maintain my health.

I'm assuming that you received something in writing, if you believe you are being cancelled. Without seeing the specifics, it's hard to comment.

You may want to find a local experienced broker in your area, and arrange a time to meet. Many states have Open Enrollments. In addition, the broker can better explain the situation. It could be that they are cancelling all policies and not just yours.

Jus by saying that you're in good health won't do us any good at this point of time. I feel it would be better if you could manage a supporting certificate from your doctor at this juncture..& it sh'd clearly state the fact that you're keeping well & worthy of claiming a nice policy for yourself!
