Annual Statement Summary of an insurer's or reinsurer's financial operations for a particular year, including a balance sheet. It is filed with the state insurance department of each jurisdiction in which the company is licensed to conduct business.

Ok guys, I am sorry for the confusion that is being created on the boards, of late, with these definitions. We had posted them, more than an year ago, to keep the users updated with the important terms related to insurance.

Very good suggestion dreamer, one page with all the definitions would definately be helpful, less confusion for all the forum members too.
