Can anyone purchase a life insurance policy on someone else without that person being notified?

Hey, I don't think it's possible, since even when someone else takes a policy on you, you'd be the one to decide on your beneficiary. Yeah, I admit that there are some states which would need to have your spouse as the beneficiary. But I'm too sure that it's absolutely illegal to do it without your knowledge. Steven
