Having problem with American Home Shield warranty. It was purchased in escrow when we bought our new house few months ago. They are finding all kinds of excuses so they don't have to pay for a/c repair/replacement. Any sucess stories? How you did it. I guess you'd need to provide a little more information in order to match up to any success story that the others might have for you. Why don't you share the actual problem with your house! I have an America Home Shield Warranty and I have never had a single issue with them paying. When I call in to report a claim and schedule a repair person, I never give them very much information. I think they use any excuse they can to deny a claim, so I'm very careful only to give them the information that they absolutely need. My typical conversation for AC repairs would go like this: Hello, I need a repair man because my air condition won't work. It's hot in here. The simpler the better!
