| The claim form for my mother's life insurance was mailed to me in care of my sister after she contacted the life insurance company and informed them of my mother's death. We live in two different states and I didn't think the insurance company should have discussed the policy, let alone, mail the claim form to her address. I was told this was not ethical conduct from the insurance company. The claim could have been filed by someone other than me with all of the personal information. |

Well ok, actually the beneficary probably should've been the one filing the claim...Is your sister the bene? They will only pay it to the beneficiary, and will also need a cert. copy of the death certificate. _________________ "Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well being of a person or animal is at stake. | If it was a blank claim form, it wouldn't have any personal information. |
