had a trailer stolen out of my yard my insurance
co, is investigating questioning neighbors can I get
a copy of the neighbors statements?

well, my insurance company told me that depending on what the investigator's report said would determine if I had to do an EUO so that doesn't sound like an adjuster making the call.

Sure it does... the adjuster reads the report in order to understand the situation and, based on that _information_, determines if the insurance company will be asking for an EUO. The adjuster can either ask for an EUO or not. The investigators report contains no info on an EUO.

You're absolutely correct. Shame on those who do such dastardly things!

"EUO" = examination under oath. False statements made to the insurance company can be turned over to law enforcement and prosecuted for perjury and/or used as evidence of attempted insurance fraud.
