Information, Insight and Accountability Poll

If there is a problem with your policy that you are unaware of - should the "standard" form letter be sufficient notice from the insurance company, or should more noticeable methods such as Certified Mail be used - especially when Losses may be at hand?

Hello Everyone,
(Announcements and Pubs Repeat)
had the unfortunate head-on with another motorist.
Neither side cited.
It has been said that in a non-citation head-on, a percentage of fault is determined.
50:50, 60:40, etc.
Parked Vehicles' on my side (a curved street) - no one coming the other way; spooked by something at the parked cars on my side.
Crossed the line 2 feet - suddenly a truck on the other.
No Vehicles' parked on their side for 3 Blocks - ?available space to move away?
Our truck totaled - theirs repaired.
Trouble with my insurance, their side state we are at fault...?
Is this to be "No Contest - Roll Over and Play Dead?"

Looking for insight, not on a witch hunt.

Thank You In Advance

I guess any intimation from the insurance co. would be enough under such circumstances. What difference would a certified mail make?

The only important thing is to go through the coverage papers post sign-up - which we forget to do so often. Even when neither sides have been spotted, there are some routine works that have to be followed instantly and there are too many discussions regarding this over the board.

I have no idea what this question is at the bottom of your post/poll...

If I am understanding you correctly you crossed the center line is that right? If so....No contest rollover..

Yes by the way it sounds something spooked you and you went into the other vehicle. If I am understanding it correctly. Sometimes rolling over and playing dead is for the best...could have been worse and you could possibly been put at fault.
