MY TAGS HAS BEEN SUSPENDED FOR NO INSURANCE,ITS TIME FOR ME TO RENEW MT TAG AND I CANT BECAUSE MY TAG HAS BEEN SUSPENDED. I NEED TO KNOW IF I CAN STILL GET INSURANCE FIRST THEN SHOW PROOF OF INSURANCE SO THAT I CAN PAY TO GET MY TAG REINSTATE IT
That's exactly what you need to do. Since you cannot get new tags without insurance. The status of your vehicle's tags should not have an impact on obtaining insurance.

Usually... ( in most states, I think) having suspended tags doesn't affect you getting insurance. However, ( just adding a 'tidbit' here..) You CAN get a hefty fine for driving with 'bad' tags. Also..here in PA, anyway....you can't get your car inspected without VALID insurance and tags. Iuse to live in a state where you din't HAVE to have 'Inspection' for your vehicles. So,..no one REALLY looked at the tags.
