Hi all, I am Cyrus Rhodes and I am associated with ampminsure since 9th May 2007. I came across with this site while searching on Google for Insurance forums. This site has a very active community and they are always ready to help each other. That's what made me sticky to this site.
Ampminsure now has become an integral part of my life. I enjoy participating in its forums and visit it almost thrice a day. I have earned a great deal of knowledge from this site. I want to describe ampminsure as the ‘complete insurance knowledge bank'.

Thanks
Cyrus

1. I am Beomyoung Oh, living in South Korea, insurance/reinsurance broker.
2. Joined Jun. 21, 2007.
3. I was searching insurance forum where I could exchange ideas with other insurance persons about insurance business. I found AMPMinsure while I was surfing Yahoo or Google.
4. I prefer this site because I could smell human being other than digital data or files.

5. I am trying to contribute every way I can do. For example, I am trying to give advices on different types of insurance especially on corporate insurance which I have been doing last 17 years, and to present to members something different from business as well. Recently, I have developed easy technic to produce caricature. If somebody else want it for his or her avatar, I produce the caricature. I have got already first order from cyrus, and gave him what he wanted. You may find it in the thread of “Avatar – I will present avatar for you”.

6. I make it a rule to come here at least once a day

7. I would like to comment on written information and globalization.

Recently I have seen a post heading “slow around here” where Tcope, cyrus, lakeman and fatman were exchanging their ideas. During the conversation, someone told that this site is in need of insurance experts.

I know that this site is a forum focusing on dialogs among members, and assume that there is money problem to hire or motivate such experts. I believe that the best solution is written information to substitute for experts. If there is some place for accumulation of written information, members may easily find what they need.

In addition, our dialogs will be improved if we do on top of the basic information provided by the written information. I do not think it would cost so much to accumulate the information. One of ideas is to encourage members to collect those information which they come across during their daily jobs as most of members are insurance businessman.

The information would include short articles, forms, wordings and so on as far as those do not have intellectual property problem. This has another merit. Basically, this site depends on answers to the questions. This means somebody needs to wait until others give answers.

One of reasons I visit regularly this site is to see insurance practice and regulations of USA, but need other country information as well. In that case, I visit other sites accordingly. If you allocate a section for each country, peoples from many different countries will register and exchange their information among those new members. I believe that there are many Americans too who want this kind of information about foreign countries because USA has the largest number of multinational companies. It does not cost so much either. Your cost is just to set up forum for those countries.

And please understand it though there may be some mistakes in my expression because I am not native English speaker.
