in texas do i need a license to get auto insurence

Posted: Thu Jul 09, 2009 1:36 pm   Post subject:    No insurance company will (should) write a policy with you as a driver.... as you cannot legally drive. They'd be insuring a risk that would never happen (should never legally happen). Once they run your DL and see that it's suspended, they should refuse to write the policy. There is no reason for you to obtain a policy... since you can't legally drive. You could obtain a policy under someone else's name so that they can drive the vehicle. But let me say this... if you are caught driving the vehicle you're just going to be digging yourself even further into the hole.
