Hi. I'm just joining the forum and having a little trouble getting my message to post. If you're reading this, hello. _________________ Funny Insurance T Shirts
Hi there. Please mention the exact problem that you are facing while posting a message.
I am Macmilan, by the way, the community developer. Good to see you in the forums. Nice avatar, too. _________________ Believe in smart work not hard work.
Hi Macmilan. I'm not sure what I was doing wrong, but I tried to post on another thread but it didn't post. When I go to my info page (prob. not calling it the right thing) it says I made a post on that thread, I even found a link that asked me if I wanted to view my post. But when I go back to the thread the post isn't there.
I am still not sure what the problem is, but I guess, it has got something to do with your browser. Please try refreshing the page after making the post. That might help. _________________ Believe in smart work not hard work.
No, that didn't do it. I shut down and then logged back in again and the same problem. When I hit "Post Reply" (same as I'm doing here), I can see my post in the Topic Review box. I can even see that sombody has replied to my post. But when in the thread itself, neither of those posts are there. The thread title is "Age and Success".
If you have no other ideas, I'll just wait a while and try again.
Thanks for your help and thanks for welcoming me and thanks for liking my avatar. I picked it up someplace and take it with me whereever I go _________________ Funny Insurance T Shirts
Man, this is driving me crazy! I have no idea what you are talking about. May be I am not able to understand what you are trying to get across to me. Lets see if someone else can figure it out.
Sorry about that. _________________ Believe in smart work not hard work.
Thanks for your help Macmilan. I don't know what you did, but all those posts appeared when you made yours. You're either a great troubleshooter or just have the magic touch. _________________ Funny Insurance T Shirts

Hello everyone! This forum was recommended to me by one of my friends and she is actually a member here. I can't find the introduction section I would just introduce myself here. But if there is an introduction area, please move this post of mine there. Thanks.
I am Ryan James, currently working in Thailand as a Math teacher. I am from the beautiful (but sad to say troubled) country of the Philippines. Ousting the president is becoming normal in our country and the oppositions are doing it again.
I finished Bachelors of Computer Science (my first degree) and Mathematics (2nd degree). When I was in high school, they tease me (more of a praise) as the walking calculator. Not that I could solve math problems very quick but I could almost always find a solution to a problem, might it be conventional or improvised solution. At that time also, my father bought our first computer in which I got very addicted to it that when I entered college I took up Computer Science immediately. When I was in 3rd year college, I wanted to have more challenge in studying and added math subjects (the major ones). I graduated in 2004 then went to work for 5 months in computer cafe. I went back to college on the 2nd semester of 2005 to finish my Math degree.
I joined this site to broaden my knowledge about insurance because someday I will be an actuary, that's my goal. I have done the studying and the requirement to have a degree, now its time to accumulate deeper knowledge about insurance. I hope I could learn more and contribute as well in this forum.
Hello Ryan and Welcome. Its our great pleasure to have you in ampminsure. Ampminsure is a great pace to share your knowledge and experience.
Ampminsure has always welcomed all its new members with open arms. And I don't have the slightest doubt in my mind that yours won't be a different experience as well. You can introduce yourself in the following thread.
Good morning Ryan, glad you came aboard! I think you will like this site and learn alot...I don't know if you knew this or not, but there is a 'sister' site (look way up at the top of the page), about finances, debt, credit, mortgage etc....So you might want to check them out as well since your field is math...(eek!-i am such a 'dumb math' type of girl)....but also am sure you will gain a lot of insurance knowledge on these boards! welcome once again.
