I am sharing a small home in Atlanta since last June. Following the recent abduction and murder in my locality I would like to know about kidnapping insurance in detail. Do many companies offer such forms of insurances ?
Thanks to all,
Jenny

There are numerous benefits and services offered to a person who has applied for a Kidnap/Ransom and Extortion insurance. Under this form of insurance coverage is being is provided for abductions and other events as a part of financial indemnification and expert crisis management. A ranson payment, loss of income, interest on bank loans and medical care are instances that can be covered by a basic policy. Losses due to kidnap or ransom can be minimised by enacting a hostage situation for training the employees and for utilizing the crisis management teams by the companies. The individuals who are enlisted with this form of insurance are covered for individual or aggregate amounts, with deductibles. But this makes it mandatory for an individual to participate in about 10% of any loss.

Hi !
We must understand that there are some real dangers for all companies operating overseas or inland in the form of kidnap and extortion. The managers of these companies overlook these dangers and are often hell bent towards facing the severest of consequences. Such policies are highly recommended for international travellers in order to counter high risks in the form of abductions of professionals and executives, international terrorist attacks etc. Generally for wealthy travellers who visit high risk places of Columbia and Peru this policy could act as a life saver.

Guys !
Todays rising costs associated with an extortion threat against your products, proprietary information, computer system or your people could surely invite problems for the survival of a small to medium-sized company. Kidnapping and ransom insurance plays a key role over here by rendering help to the family and business in terms of investigations, negotiations, arrangement and delivery of funds.
This is a form of insurance which truly resolves an abduction much more effectively with the help of experts and thus forces the risk managers to look for such an insurance. The most important element of a Kidnap insurance policy are the security specialists who have all the much needed expertise to offer a wide range of services. Both individuals and corporations are not prepared to bear the financial risks and therefore they think it wiser to opt for a Kidnap/Ransom and Extortion Insurance and pay a pre-decided premium. Thanks for bringing up interesting topics for discussion.
