Liable for accident

I was in an accident that someone allowed another person to use their car, and that person totalled my car out! I have followed up to make sure this person will never get a license until she pays me. I hope you at least contacted the people after you found out that you didn't have coverage to see what arrangement you all can make as far as payments. If you didn't shame on you, and I hope they pursue you with all legal means.

I'm not sure how you didnt recognize that your insurance was canceled. Did it ever cross you when you made payments every month?????

Alabama,

I am not real sure what you are trying to say here, Do you have a question, if so then please post it so that someone here can help you.

The only thing that I get out of this is that you were in an accident and the person driving did not own the car. Please give more detail so that some one can come along and properly advise you on what action to take next?

Hi, I completely agree with you Alabama. The person responsible for the damages should show some character and accept the liabilities. Similarly, the person is also responsible for maintain his/her insurance at place. But, Alas! many of us also fail to understand this duty of ours. I'll not comment upon whether you have done the right thing by revoking her license or not until she pays you.......but definitely she is at-fault for not maintaining the policy.

Please put your queries in the forums (if you have any :) ), we'll surely try to forward all necessary helps to solve it. :)
