Customers's appreciation or testimonies are the best form of advertisement.

I wonder if you have received any letter of appreciation from your customers about the service you rendered.

What have you done that made your customers write to you?

In my opinion customer's opinion is really a good idea but one can not really depend on the remarks of customers when it comes to the online marketing.

Person to person validation is really what can be trusted.

As all of you know it well that its now a buyer's market so you should only concentrate on customer satisfaction as the top most priority and as
" Customer Is King" you should always aware of their requirements .
Definately this will lead to customer appriciation

I think one of the most important things in dealing with the clients is pure honesty. I was working with a very low income elderly woman that had requested information on Long Term Care Insurance. She had no assets and the lowest social security amount I had ever encountered. She was worried about having to go into a nursing home, and the Medicare Advantage plan that she had just wasn't cutting it.

I could have easily sold her a policy and convinced her it was the way to go, but I strive to do the right thing every time. We called social services together and got her an appointment with a counselor. It took a few months, but she is now on full Medicaid and is doing very well.

Apparently she was very impressed with the way I treated her, because she has not only sent me a letter...but sent me 6 clients as well!

I think that is what counts at the end of the day :) Its always said that referral leads are the best leads and when a satisfied customer sends you the leads, be rest assured that you would close those without much trouble. That is because, when they are half ready to buy the product only from you. You then only have to find the right option for them.

However, customer's testimonials would worth if you are running a site. Couple of clients feedback would help accentuating the credibility of the agent.

The customer may be internal customer or external customer. If you consider a MANUFACTURING COMPANY , The internal customer means the next operation after your work station. This internal customer's delighment is also more important as external customer means end user.

SD, I'm not sure if you actually meant this comment to mean what I, along with many others, interpret it to mean. That's one of the problems with cyberspace.

In any event, I can assure that there are more "honest" insurance agents in every community than there are dishonest ones. It is comments like yours that spread through a community and hurt everyone in the insurance business.

I, personally, have helped make it possible for many families to continue living the same standard of living as they did prior to the death of the principal breadwinner.

I, personally, have helped make it possible for businesses to survive the death of a key employee or owner.

I, personally, have helped make it possible for a disabled family member to continue to receive quality care after the death of the principal caregiver.

For many years, I have been the second person called after the deaths of many people.

Certain types of insurance are not popular topics until the survivor needs the money.

The job of being an insurance agent is hard enough without people thinking or implying that we are mostly crooks!

Good info Sunil, but how is it relevant to this thread? Can you please explain who are the internal customers for an agent?

Quite so Maze. However, I think it can be solved through interaction between the agent and the client. Few agents do consider that investing more time with the client than is required to close the sale is wastage. This might force the client to feel that the agent isn't compassionate enough towards him.
