hi!...my car was stolen 4 weeks ago in san diego and found in mexico 2 weeks after, the insurance agent tell me that the car was involve in a accident and that they are investigating, my question is: how long do i have to wait to get my car back and repair or get a check

Yes I agree with previous comment, once you into Mexico certain miles in, your any longer covered...check it out I am pretty sure that happened to me back in 2000, I never got a penny from Progressive at that time. good luck! :(

I would suggest that OP shows some patience and doesn’t lose hope. These things (theft and car taken across border) usually take time. Depending upon what coverage you had opted for, many good insurers like (link removed by lori) do provide you car rental reimbursement for the time your car is unusable. Please go back to your policy and read what coverage you opted for and if you were promised a rental reimbursement. All the best.
