The neighbors kid is working on this crappy old truck, it is so loud, he revs it up and revs it up. He does not care what time it is. He is trying like hell to get the truck on the road and in the meantime, we all SUFFER, I have talked to his mother, she is sick of it too. We don't want to discourage him from getting it going, he is a good kid, drug free, no behavior problems, saved for the old piece of crap that is a gem in his eyes, LOL. Just don't know how much more of this I can take, LOL. Help me.

I am hoping he gets it going soon, I don't have the knowledge or I would go help him. One of those between a rock and a hard spot. Hate to hear the truck but don't want to crush the kids dream truck either, or do I? LOL.

My little brother is into fixing up beaters. He has always loved to strip down motors just to rebuilt them, and he still loves to do that. Sometimes he worries our family of his safety driving these old junkers round in a high speed. He just wrecked his truck by hitting black ice and is now back to fixing it up. I worry too that he not only bothers the family at home of his tools laying around and his loudness but that he will get hurt from making simple little mistakes while trying to fix the truck up. He is extremely smart and knowledgable about cars and never went to school for it but it still concerns me that one day he will forget a bold or screw and something will go wrong. So I would go to your neighbor and tell him how great it is he can fix things up but to be careful and remember others around him are being dissrupted during the rebuilding process just to keep down after like 9pm or whenever it becomes a problem for you and yours.

Sounds like a good Idea Coffeebean.Good advice. That kid will be able to make a living doing that stuff. It pays good. My brother in-law is a mechanic and he earns good money and always has jobs to do.That it is a learning process.
