Insurance do you really need it or not?
i think it depends on the insurance. If you are looking at house, car, or health insurance I would say definitely yes. If you have a fire in your house, wreck your care, or have health problems these can help you from losing everything. I think life insurance can be important if you have a family so that they can be provided for if anything happens to you. Any other insurance is up to you.

have an insurance question

Does anyone know this for sure? When my girlfriend got her insurance at work She said she put me as her beneficiary on the life insurance. I have had a few jobs in my lifetime and filled out some insurance forms. I always had to have the beneficiay's date of birth and S.S number. She knows my date of birth but I knew she didn't know my s.s. number. When I asked her didn't they ask for that information she said no. All they asked for was our address. Again, does anyone know for sure if that's even possible? Has anyone been able to do that.

I have heard about some healthcare organizations teaming up with doctors towards cheating the health insurance companies....is it possible ? Can people associated with such noble professions get involved in such activities ?

It is been quite sometime that I'm receiving calls from a particular insurance company. They are offering good health benefits and that also at a low cost. Now my question is, are they trustworthy? I've heard that people often scam others like this.

How to say 'Do Not Call' to insurance tele-advisors ???

Hi Guys!

I've recently been called by one of the leading credit card companies to consider their health insurance program for a membership.
Now, I'm truly skeptical about such products & services that are offered through telemarketers since a vast majority of them are targeted scams!

My husband is also apprehensive towards such ideas! Now, though I've turned down these offers several times, they keep coming our way from time to time. Now, the only thing that gets us into a dilemma is the need for another credit card with my husband's name in it.

Money laundering activities!

Guyz! I am looking for some information regarding the latest anti-money laundering regulations associated with the insurance companies. At the same time, I'd be grateful if anyone tells me about the sort of transactions that the insurers scrutinize in order to maintain compliance with the policyholders.

I just quit my job with a chiropractor. He insisted that I bill dates for 2007 for patients that were seen in 2006. The dates were not paid out for 2006 becaue their insurance was exhauste. He wanted to get paid for these 2006 visits. He said "he was not going to eat it". The patient was not seen on that date in 2007. I would not do it because I felt that it was insurance fraud. He said he always did it before. Is there anything I can do about it?

I lost my medical insurance policy papers sometime back. I went to my insurer for help and they are saying that my name is not listed in there company's medical policy list. Is any way there to get my old policy back. Is the company cheating me?

Thanks
