My wife suffered personal injury (broken ribs, compressed vertebrae) as a result of an auto accident when another car pulled out of a parking lot into the road and we ran into it. My wife's condition did not improve after a year but got worse, and one of our doctors noted that she had a permanent injury and would never be able to lift heavy objects, walk long distances, etc. Despite this, the insurance company ordered an IME (independent medical evaluation).

This company is a scam. I bought storage rental insurance from them, paid my premiums and all. My storage unit got broken into by robbers cutting the lock off. They denied my claim because there was no sign of forced entry (as if cutting a lock isn't forced) We got in touch with them and I asked the claims manager straight up "so basically, you're a fraud insurance company. You make people pay their premiums just so you can deny them" and the guy said to me "haha yeah I guess so". I will never be doing business with them again and I suggest that nobody else does either.

My husband had a life insurance through his company. He left his job in September with his doctors advice after paying for the insurance for 20 years. He filled out papers in October to switch his policy to a single policy no longer under the company. Sadly two months later his was in a coma and died. While he was in the coma, i received a rejection notice from the life insurance policy. He could not do anything about this because he was in a coma. It seems that his company did not send some papers that they were suppose to send to enable us to get the new

May 30, 2012 had a burglary. lost $51, 762. Some thing not replaceable.
State Farm sent a fraud investigator, who all but accused me of fraud.
After a month and a half I was informed they would only pay
$4400.00. Less than 10%. Today is July 27, 2012 and still have not received payment. Have called three times and was told that the check was mailed out on July 13th.

I recently took a broken laptop to a mom and pop repair shop from which it was allegedly stolen. The shop owner notified me of the theft, told me he'd compensate me for the machine (but that "it was worth very little"), and asked for the serial number.

I gave him the serial number and he told me he was filing a claim (didn't say what kind, what for, or with which company). My homeowner's insurance covered my loss, so I filed that claim and was paid. I told the store owner that and asked that he pay my $250 deductible. Just as goodwill.

Hello..I was hurt in the classroom. I reported it to my school saw the WC dr. the next day who said ok to return to work on "light Duty" he listed some restrictions, my boss said no problem to the light duty restrictions. I went back to work the next day and found it nearly impossible to work that type of job even on a light duty schedule. i was in pain more by the end of the work day. I reported it again and went again back to the same WC dr who still insisted on light duty only, even though I tried to explain that light duty doesnt really even exist with this of position.

Does anybody know anything about this life insurance company who also allegedly helps you save for retirement? I was recently approached by a "sales agent" and they were really persistent in trying to have me sign a GIUL insurance. Are they legit?
