Hi all!

I'm looking to become an Allstate agent but based on some of the posts that I've read on different sites...some current or former Allstate agents have mentioned that a lot of things have changed with Allstate. Would anyone with experience wiht Allstate recommend becoming an agent?

I'm thinking about becoming an Allstate agent but I don't have the 50K that's required. Does anyone know of any good lenders that are willing to extend a line of credit in this economy? What have other agents done to meet the 50K requirement?

I hit an unmarked pot hole in a construction zone. It was filled with water. The pot hole was approx. 3 feet wide and very deep. My car bottom out in the front and back.

I made a claim with the county and they denied it saying "they did not know about it prior to my hitting it". I then went on the hunt for evidence. I have 100's of pages of documentation from the county. I have pieced it all together.

I am currently on probation in AZ for unlawful discharge or a firearm, a class 6 undesignated felony. After I complete my 2 year term of probation, the charge will be reduced to a misdemeanor. Basically, I drank too much, got very drunk, and I shot a gun at the ground. There were no victims, no property was damaged, no one was threatened, and it was my first and only offense. The crime occurred in April 2010, and I was convicted in August 2010.

one of my had a tour last month, he took travel insurance at that time and had wonderful tour.
Now as i am planning a tour these days he is insisting me for the cover, what you think that should i go with him or not.

Hello All,

I wanted to pose the topic around the future of Insurance Agents. I get so concerned about the outlook of insurance agents in the next ten, fifteen, twenty years from now. The way people purchase insurance is changing and the people in my generation and younger tend to buy online.

I'm in my twenties, started my independent agency back in 2009 and absolutely love all that I do. I'm just concerned what will my agency look like in the future with all the advances in technology and companies opting to leave agents out in the cold.

I want to open an independent insurance agency. How can I get my first agency agreement? How much money do I need to get going?

I'm in NJ. Just got the P and C License and got Trade Name Approval.
I have a sales Back Ground but have never Sold Insurance. I really could use some help. Thanks Art

Hi all,
Travel insurance is must if you are going on travel to an unknown places. Any mishap can be happen there. To keep us safe we need travel insurance.
There are so many companies out there. Online searching make it easy to get the best option.
