The background:
Worked in Automotive sales...and just started at Allstate on the 1st. Original salary offered was $ 24 + commission after I receive my license but never came to any particular agreement on the commission. Before I accepted the position I got the agent to agree to $ 30 + commission after licensing.

I am looking to make a career change from sales/marketing into the insurance business, with the ultimate goal of becoming an actuary. I have always been very strong with numbers and the lack of the challenge and mental stimulation in my current field is very hard for me to deal with.

Hey out there. I am brand new in the insurance industry, and I'm looking for advice on F/E companies. I'd like to primarily sell over the phone. Any advice as to who to contact or who to to avoid? I've read many negative comments regardng SHC, so I will likely stay away from them. What about NAA, Finalexpensetelasales, Agentworkfromhome, or groups liek them?
Thanks,

Rick

Is there a preferred provider? Do any companies out there provide affiliate programs for those that refer agents to sign up with them?

Many thanks!

Is there a preferred high end brokerage to work for?

It isn't that I have anything against firms that primarily serve a lower incoming producing clientèle, however I prefer the high end.

Preference might be considered for reputation, support, training, etc.

This comparison in real estate might be Sotheby's vs Keller Williams

Any help is a big help!

Many thanks!
