can get a license if you been convicted for a felony in ohio

I am presently in Life & Health field, but would like to try the adjuster field. I am 55 yrs old and would like an honest opinion, if this field is worth really looking into? Also is there a decent pay to live on and jobs available in this rough economy?Your comments would be appreciated good or bad as they might be.

Does anyone have an opinion on these guys?? I am a newly licensed agent. I was interested in joining the producers alliance team- but a veteran agent that i know told me that they are a bunch of crooks.

I've heard of Agents walking business to business to ask to quote their insurance. What are your opinions on this? Personally I think it would be a good change of pace, getting you out of the office. What do you guys think?

i have never heard of this company before(complete solutions) in vandalia ohio. i don't know if i should contract with them. in the contract it says something about monthly automatic withdrawls from my checking account to them . i would be a captive agent with them and they said they give me all my leads.it says about my compensation that i get 50% vested after 2 years and 100% vested after 5 years...does that sound good?

IS THE TAX BENEFIT ONLY WAY TO ATTRACT THE CUSTOMERS?

So I have my licenses for Life and health and P&C, I am getting appointed with all of my Life and Health companies this week. I have my own personal E & O. My question is who do I decide to write my P&C business with? I have been given the name of two companies that I can use to go through until I build my book, Myron and Steves or Texas United. How am I supposed to differ between the two? Am I supposed to have an agency license to do so? or can I use my own personal license being it is just me?

Besides being aggressive during a sell, What are some of the common mistakes insurance agents make? Also what are some things that are done that lead to being unsuccessful in the long run.
